Helping the world understand what one of its largest mining companies can do to tackle human and planetary health challenges.

The client, a multi-national mining company, was in the throes of redefining itself around sustainability, with a radically different environment social and governance agenda. A new corporate website was to be the focus in its campaign to re-engage with a universe of different stakeholders — communities of affected sites, pressure groups and the media, as well as customers, employees, suppliers and investors. The client's digital agency invited us to develop the content for the site, and in turn demonstrate a new, universal tone of voice for the company.

BRIEF

SOLUTION

We created copy that replaced whole paragraphs with short phrases. We wrote content for all the main pages of the new site, cutting the previous word count by more than half.

In developing language around talking points, we evolved a new way for the company to speak plainly to the world about its purpose, value, and responsibilities as a global steward.
